Super Eagles coach unveils 28-man squad for AFCON 2025

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released a 28-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

The squad, unveiled on Thursday, features three goalkeepers, eight defenders, eight midfielders, and nine forwards, including several key players — Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, and Stanley Nwabali, among others.

The Super Eagles are due to open their training camp in Egypt on December 10, where they are expected to play warm-up matches before the competition begins on December 21, 2025.

Nigeria are in Group C alongside Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda.
