The Taraba State government, in collaboration with Ardo Media, has emphasized the need for effective service delivery at the local government level.
Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, who declared the workshop open in Jalingo on Friday, charged the local government leaders to adhere to the principles of quality service delivery to manage the Local Governments efficiently.
Governor Kefas while thanking the organizers, for a job well done, emphasized the importance of inclusive and sustainable development in Taraba state.
“As leaders, you are the bridge between the government and the people, and your effectiveness is critical to ensuring development is inclusive, sustainable, and visible.
” Let me specially commend Ardo Media for this wonderful initiative and assure you all that my administration will continue to partner with groups to provide manpower development and infrastructural revolution” he said.
Ahmed Mohd, CEO of Ardo Media noted that the Two-day workshop that the meeting would provide a valuable opportunity for local government leaders to network, share experience⁰ and learn from experts in various fields.
He noted that the retreat is aimed to equip local government chairmen, permanent secretaries, directors, and accountants with essential knowledge to drive development in areas such as education, infrastructure, health, and agriculture.
“This Two-day retreat is a crucial platform for us to sharpen our skills, share best practices, and explore innovative approaches to governance.
